The Doctor Kasem Pangsrivongse Foundation Funds More Than 2 Million Baht for 2022 Pharmacy Scholarships

Tirapongse Pangsrivongse (4th left), Chairman of Doctor Kasem Pangsrivongse Foundation, together with Professor Dr.Chomchin Chantaraskul (5th left), Executive Director and Consultant of Sub-Committee Doctor Kasem Pangsrivongse Foundation, donated for the 6th consecutive year a total of 2,420,100 Baht to 60 funds to support pharmacy students and Thai pharmacists in scholarships and pharmaceutical research through the Zoom Webinar system, without obligation, to recipients from various institutions.  Assoc. Prof. Surakit Nathisuwan, PharmD, BCPS (3rd left), Dean, Faculty of Pharmacy of Mahidol University; Sorada Wangmethekul (6th left), Director of The College of Industrial Pharmacy of Thailand of The Pharmacy Council; Rungnapa Amarinthnukrowh (2nd left), President of Thai Industrial Pharmacist Association; Komson Sotangkur (1st left), President of The Association of Hospital Pharmacist (Thailand); and Witoon Riewlaung (7th left), Sub-Committee of Doctor Kasem Pangsrivongse Foundation, offered congratulations before witnesses at B.L.H. Building, Wireless Road, Bangkok.

Established in 2016, The Doctor Kasem Pangsrivongse Foundation aims to fund development projects in all fields of pharmacy, international symposia and scholarships to promising students from financially disadvantaged backgrounds; short course overseas studies, inviting eminent academics from overseas to share their knowledge and experience with Pharmacy students in Thailand; career development projects and R&D, etc. The Foundation, with a sinking fund of 100 Million Baht donated by Tirapongse Pangsrivongse, will allocate an annual sponsorship and scholarship over 20 years.
