“SIG Combibloc” Joins Public Sector and 50 Forefront Organizations to Recycle Packages under EPR Concept

SIG Combibloc Thailand is a leading systems and solutions provider for aseptic carton packaging working in partnership with its customers to bring food and beverage products to consumers around the world in a safe, sustainable and affordable way. Mr. Vatcharapong Ungsrisawasdi, Country Manager at SIG Combibloc Thailand (far left) has affirmed SIG’s commitment to sustainability by signing an agreement with 50 leading organizations to drive EPR (Extended Producer Responsibility). The event was organized by Thailand Institute of Packaging and Recycling Management for Sustainable Environment (TIPMSE) with an aim to develop sustainable packaging management. This is in line with the country’s national agenda to drive a Bio-Circular-Green (BCG) Economy under PackBack approach. Mr. Wijarn Simachaya, Chairman of the Sub-Committee on BCG Development (Second Left) and Mr. Unsit Sampuntharat, Deputy Permanent Secretary for Interior (Second Right) also joined the event at Auditorium C Asean Ratchada, Thailand.
