School of Liberal Arts University of Phayao conducted training and workshops on the production of crispy ginger jelly.

On June 5, 2023, Dr. Chanapha Duangfai, Vice Dean for Special Affairs, and Assistant Professor Dr. Phitsinee Sathientharadol, Assistant Dean and the project manager, along with their team conducted training and a workshop on the production of crispy ginger jelly as part of the sustainable community development project. The event took place at Ban So Temple, Mae Na Ruea Subdistrict, Mueang Phayao District, Phayao Province with the help of Miss Sirathirang Tinthum, a guest speaker, to share her knowledge of how to produce crispy ginger jelly. The product nutritional data and expiration date would be determined/estimated/verified with help from Dr. Nitsara Boonkerd, Vice Dean of Academic Affairs, Quality Assurance, and Cooperative Education from School of Medical Science as well as the product’s packaging would be designed by Dr. Suleeporn Kamchompoo from the School of Information and Communication Technology. The workshop was successful through the cooperation and participation of the community leaders, a housewife group, and youth of Ban So.
