New breed of corn organized plots at the School of Agriculture and Natural Resources, University of Phayao.

School of Agriculture and Natural Resources, University of Phayao participated in the research presentation “The 40th National Corn and Millet Symposium (Transforming Thai Agricultural Land with BCG Research and Innovation)” on August 3 – 5, 2022 at the Greenery Resort Khao Yai, Nakhon Ratchasima Province, led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Boonyarit Sinkangam and researchers.

The School of Agriculture and Natural Resources has led the research project of 4 new breeds of corn participate in the exhibit on the demo plot. The event also exchanged knowledge and experience in corn and millet research from both public and private scholars, as well as finding ways to improve the production of corn and millet to be of high quality. The event consisted of special lectures and panel discussions from expert speakers, presentations on plant breeding research, crop protection, production and utilization of seed business, exhibitions offering research results, demonstration plots of corn and millet varieties.
