Pokémon (Thailand) will open Pokémon Center BANGKOK, the first official Pokémon store in Thailand, on Tuesday, 1 December 2026.
We are delighted to announce the opening date here in Thailand, a country whose beautiful landscapes and culture, and warm people, captivate visitors from around the world. It is a major step for us, and a truly special occasion.
Spanning the largest floor area of any Pokémon Center outside Japan, the store offers experiences that go beyond shopping, including an iconic space called the “Big Tree” and the “Pokémon Trading Card Game Area,” where visitors can enjoy the Pokémon Trading Card Game. Here is a preview of some of what awaits.
Greeted by Pikachu and Shaymin at the entrance, guests will discover the “Big Tree” at the heart of the store, a gathering place for Pokémon. As you take your time shopping in the spacious space, you’re sure to meet your favorite Pokémon.
The store will also feature a permanent “Pokémon Trading Card Game Area” where visitors can enjoy Pokémon Trading Card Game. Events perfect for getting started with the Pokémon Trading Card Game are also planned, so please stay tuned for upcoming announcements.
On Tuesday, 1 December 2026, a wide range of merchandise specially the opening of Pokémon Center BANGKOK will be released. The lineup of more than 20 varieties of items includes plush toys of Pikachu dressed in an outfit inspired by Thai attire and Shaymin, the symbol Pokémon of the store, as well as goods featuring special artwork created to celebrate the opening. Here is a preview of some of them.
