SIG Combibloc Thailand awarded a government honor medal and certificate in ERP from joining PackBack Network

SIG Combibloc Thailand is awarded an honor medal and a certificate of appreciation from Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment Thailand and TIPMSE (Thailand Institute of Packaging and Recycling Management for Sustainable Environment) for being a leader and responsible organization in sustainability in accordance with EPR (Extended Producer Responsibility) principle, as part of PackBack project that SIG Thailand has joined. The PackBack project has a strong extended network partnership with more than 70 organizations from the public and private sectors to promote sustainability in waste management. All types of used packaging needs to be recycled. The project adheres to BCG Model policy, the new engine for sustainable growth (Bio-Circular-Green Economy) put in place by the Thai government and adding value to the country’s circular economy.

Mr. Vatcharapong Ungsrisawasdi, Country Manager SIG Combibloc Thailand, received an honor medal and a certificate from Mr. Varawut Silpa-archa, Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Thailand at Plenary Hall, Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, Bangkok. The ceremony was held together with the Pollution Control Department of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (MONRE), and Thailand Institute of Packing and Recycling Management for Sustainable Environment or (TIPMSE), The Federation of Thai Industries (FTI).
